Through responsible collection, preservation, exhibition and education, the Mitchell County Museum inspires the public to a deeper understanding of their culture and natural history. Displays rotate annually and provide a collective story about the many topics that make Mitchell County, Kansas, unique.
MCHS offers historical programs for clubs and schools, and college intern programs that focus on display curation. The museum also offers genealogical services with access to 150 years of county tax & property ledgers, school records, yearbooks, mapping and family story collections. The museum also provides a ample meeting space; please inquire. (Scroll down to see meeting space photos)
