Beloit
​Beloit offers 5 parks & playgrounds.  
  • Chautauqua Park – a 26 acre multi-use park is surrounded by the banks of the Solomon River; swimming pool, playground, covered picnic areas, camping and more.
  • Westside Park – a 4 acre park with a variety of facilities
  • Roadside Park – a 2-acre park home to The Little Red School House, a local historic landmark, and a summer time farmer's market
  • Thierolf Park – a 1/3-acre garden-type park designed for relaxing
  • Community Garden – a public garden area that encourages production of nutritious food, socialization and exercise. 
  • North Campus Playground  - safe, enclosed play area with lots of things to captivate kids
Cawker City
Cawker City Community Park
  • Located one block north of U.S. Highway 24 on Lake Dr., Cawker City Park offers a tree-shaded, modern playground, tennis courts and picnic tables.
  • The landmark E. Harrison Cawker (Cawker City’s namesake) memorial drinking fountain, c.1914, is located on the west side of park. Each year the community’s annual Picnic is held here.

Lakeside Park & Golf Course
  • Located on the east edge of Cawker City, just off of U.S. Highway 24 to the south, Lakeside Park offers a challenging, well-kept, 9 hole golf course with artificial greens.  It is well-used by Club Members and others nearly year-round.  All golfers are welcome to stop and play a round!

Glen Elder 
Wilson Neff Park
  • City Square, downtown Glen Elder, KS 67446 -- Located in the heart of Glen Elder in the city square, all community events occur here including the annual Funday and Chili-cookoff. 
  • Playground - Surrounded by beautiful trees and landscaping
  • Picnic Shelter - with tables
  • Statue of Liberty - this replica graces the center of the park.
  • PeacePole - a monument dedicated to Kansas’ 150-year anniversary, is located on the north side of the park (next to the small meditation church.)  “Let peace prevail on Earth” is engraved on the pole in 8 languages, including: Czech, English, French, German, Kaw, Norwegian, Pawnee, and Spanish.
